On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his appreciation to US President Donald Trump for reaching out with birthday wishes as he celebrated his 75th year. In a message shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Modi referred to Trump as a 'friend' and emphasized their mutual dedication to enhancing the India–US relationship.
This call marked the first direct communication between the two leaders since June 17.
